Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded around 6:10 p.m. to the ramp from southbound Route 29 to eastbound MD 200 (ICC) for a collision that resulted in a vehicle fire and a small brush fire.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, the driver was able to self-extricate before crews arrived and one adult with non life threatening injuries was transported to the hospital. Units including A715, T716, PE712, PA841, and PE841 worked to extinguish the fires and secure the scene.
