Twin Valley Distillers, located at 1029 E. Gude Drive in Rockville, has permanently closed.
Founded in 2013 by Edgardo Zuniga, the distillery was Montgomery County’s first post-Prohibition distillery and focused on farm-to-bottle production. Twin Valley Distillers produced a range of spirits including bourbons, Dirty Apples Whiskey, Fruit Punch Rum, Norbeck Agave Vodka, Zarcci Limoncello, and Black Joe Coffee Liqueur.
The Rockville facility offered tours and operated a cocktail bar featuring its own spirits, and the company also sold products at farmers markets across Maryland. No information has been released regarding future plans for the site. Owner Edgardo Zuniga thanked customers and the local community for their support over the years as the business closed.
