One person was killed following a two-vehicle collision Wednesday morning in Burnt Mills.
According to the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD), the incident prompted the closure of Lockwood Drive and Northwood Drive, as well as Lockwood Drive at Burnt Mills, as police and emergency crews responded to the scene. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.
Police later confirmed the fatality and said the Collision Reconstruction Unit has been notified and is investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision. More information will be released as it becomes available.
