Arby’s is looking to make a return to Montgomery County, according to Silver Spring-based Luis Group Management, which operates Arby’s, Baskin Robbins, Dunkin’, and Jersey Mike’s locations throughout Maryland.
A representative for the group said they are working on a deal in Montgomery County, though no agreement has been finalized and the location has not yet been disclosed.
Montgomery County’s last remaining Arby’s restaurant, located at 11710 Rockville Pike, closed in May 2021. After plans to bring Shake Shack to the site did not move forward, the property sat vacant for several years before a McDonald’s recently opened at the location.
Arby’s is best known for its roast beef sandwiches and curly fries.
