A $158,107 winning progressive jackpot ticket was sold Monday night in Clarksburg, according to the Maryland Lottery. The winning ticket was purchased at the Harris Teeter located at 22700 Sweet Shrub Drive.
The ticket was for the $5 FAST PLAY Chili Pepper Payout progressive jackpot game. The retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. This was the fourth jackpot win on the game, which has now reset to $40,000 and continues to increase with each non-jackpot sale. Maryland Lottery officials said 15 progressive jackpots remain available.
Last month, a Montgomery County man won $450,000 purchasing Bonus Match 5 lottery tickets at the Clarksburg Harris Teeter.
