The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring will open for the 2026 season on Saturday, March 21, offering visitors access to treetop climbing trails featuring zip lines, rope bridges, and aerial obstacles set throughout the forest.
The park, which is entering its 16th season, includes 16 treetop trails and more than 200 climbing and zip line challenges designed for beginners through experienced climbers. It will also operate daily during Spring Break from March 27 through April 6, providing an outdoor activity option for families and students while school is out.
In 2025, Adventure Park was ranked the #2 Adventure Park in the United States in USA Today’s 10Best competition, finishing #1 on the mainland and earning the recognition for the second consecutive year. Located at Sandy Spring Friends School, the park draws visitors from all 50 states and is the largest aerial ropes course and zip line park in Maryland. It is also the only park in the state accredited by the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT). Founded in 2010, the park welcomes roughly 100,000 visitors annually.
