Montgomery County Police Department’s Traffic Operations Division is participating in the county’s Vision Zero “Wave” initiative through March 14, focusing on pedestrian and bicyclist safety across the county.
During the campaign, officers will conduct education and enforcement efforts targeting behaviors that contribute to serious and fatal crashes, including speeding, distracted driving, failure to yield to pedestrians, and pedestrians not following traffic laws.
Enforcement locations and times will vary throughout Montgomery County.
