A Maryland Lottery player in Silver Spring won a $168,860 progressive jackpot after purchasing a winning ticket on Thursday.
The winning ticket was sold at Georgia Fuel and Treats on Georgia Avenue, and the retailer will receive a $168.86 bonus for selling the ticket.
The $10 High Roller Blackjack game launched in January and this marks the fifth progressive jackpot won, with additional prizes still available, including more progressive jackpots and $50,000 prizes. Following the win, the jackpot reset to $100,000 and will continue to grow with ticket sales. Lottery officials remind winners to sign their tickets and note that prizes must be claimed within 182 days.
