The Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation has launched a new webpage to provide updates on the Countywide Strategic Plan, allowing businesses, residents, and officials to track progress, review milestones, and submit feedback.
A public input survey is available through May 15, and community members are encouraged to participate by visiting https://thinkmoco.com/advancing-economic-development/.
The strategic plan, developed in partnership with SRI International, will outline a framework for economic growth, workforce development, and innovation over the next four years. A draft is expected to be delivered to County Executive Marc Elrich by July 31, 2026, with further review by the County Council and anticipated adoption in summer 2027.
