The Montgomery County Office of Human Rights, in collaboration with the Human Rights Commission, will host a free virtual Fair Housing Seminar from 9 am to noon on Thursday, April 30, in recognition of Fair Housing Month.

The seminar is open to realtors, property managers, landlords, housing providers, advocates and others interested in housing issues, and is designed to provide information on rights and responsibilities related to fair housing. Participants must register in advance through Zoom to attend.

Topics will include disability accommodations, source-of-income protections, service and emotional support animals, and “Ban the Box” requirements, along with updates on federal, state and local laws.
