Montgomery County Department of Police and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services responded at approximately 12:35 pm on Friday, May 1, 2026, to the 11600 block of Drumcastle Terrace for the report of a pedestrian struck in a residential driveway.
Upon arrival, first responders located a 75-year-old male who had been struck by a vehicle. He was transported to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver, identified as a family member of the decedent, remained on scene and is cooperating with investigators. The Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident. The identity of the decedent will be released following proper notification of next of kin.
