Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded Saturday morning to a serious collision on northbound I-270 near Exit 4 for Montrose Road.
According to MCFRS spokesperson Pete Piringer, the incident occurred around 9:15 am between the I-270 Spur and Montrose Road and involved a rollover with entrapment, debris across the roadway, and at least one traumatic injury.
One vehicle came to rest on the median wall. Several northbound lanes were blocked as emergency crews worked at the scene. Drivers should expect delays in the area and seek alternate routes if possible.
