WHY: KEEN Greater DC is a non-profit volunteer organization that provides free-of-charge, one-to-one recreational activities to children and young adults with all types of disabilities in ways that allow them to build self-esteem and self-confidence. Volunteers are the heart of KEEN.
While KEEN’s regular activities take place at different sites throughout Greater Washington, DC, and Baltimore, the Sports Festival is the one time each year for all KEEN participants to celebrate in person as a single group.
Note: Light snacks, pizza and water will be provided. DrinkMore Water is generously donating water bottles, and Georgetown Pain Management will be sponsoring pizza for all participants.
