Miniso is set to return to Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, according to a listing on the mall’s website.
The retailer is expected to reopen in its former space on the lower level near Macy’s. Miniso previously operated at the mall before closing in July 2025.
Founded in 2013, Miniso is known for offering a wide range of affordable products, including plush toys, stationery, beauty items, home goods, electronics accessories, snacks, and collectibles. The retailer has gained popularity for its licensed merchandise collaborations featuring brands and characters such as Sanrio, Disney, Pokémon, and Harry Potter.
Miniso currently operates additional Montgomery County locations at Fox Chapel Plaza in Germantown and Federal Plaza in Rockville.
The company describes itself as a “designer brand” focused on quality, minimalist design, and affordability, operating over 1,800 stores in more than 40 countries. Following a fast-fashion model, Miniso frequently launches new products to keep pace with trends.
