Potomac Mills (2700 Potomac Mills Cir, Woodbridge, VA) has announced that Slick City Action Park will open at the shopping center on Saturday, June 13.
The indoor attraction features waterless slides, air courts, a toddler play area, party rooms, and spaces for group events.
Headquartered in St. Louis and Nashville, Slick City opened its first location in Denver in 2022 and has quickly grown into one of the fastest-expanding indoor entertainment concepts in the country. The company describes itself as the world’s first indoor slide park, offering the speed and excitement of water slides without the water. Attractions include multi-lane dry slides, air courts for games and activities, a toddler-focused Junior Jungle play area, party rooms, and a variety of special events such as sensory-friendly sessions, homeschool nights, Little Sliders Club programs, and adult-only evenings.
Founded by Bron Launsby and Gary Schmit, the company develops its proprietary slide technology in-house through a partnership with Slick Slide. The brand has filed dozens of patents related to its slide systems and currently has more than 100 locations open, under construction, or in development nationwide.
