Hot Pot Kitchen, located at 595 Hungerford Drive in Rockville, announced Monday, June 15, that it has permanently closed (h/t Pike.and.Rozay).
In a social media post, the restaurant thanked customers for their support but did not provide a reason for the closure.
The restaurant previously offered an all-you-can-eat hot pot menu featuring a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, tofu, mushrooms, noodles and rice, along with additional dinner-only items such as tripe, pig feet, clams and specialty cuts. Beyond hot pot, it served barbecue skewers, appetizers, dim sum, stir-fried dishes, noodle soups and rice plates, with menu items including dumplings, Kung Pao chicken, Mongolian beef, braised pork, spicy fish dishes, milk teas, smoothies and traditional desserts.
