🎉 National Day of Joy 2026: Joy Between Generations

Join Comfort Keepers of Rockville and Frederick as we celebrate the 8th Annual National Day of Joy!

This year’s theme, “Joy Between Generations,” highlights the special connections between older adults, children, families, and caregivers. Over three days, our team will be spreading joy throughout the community by visiting several of our clients in a “Traveling Day of Joy,” sharing meaningful conversations, music, memories, activities, and surprises designed to brighten someone’s day.

The celebration continues with local students creating handmade cards and messages of kindness for seniors living in assisted living communities, helping bridge generations through simple acts of connection. On June 25, Comfort Keepers will visit Somerford House & Place Frederick to deliver these heartfelt cards and share moments of joy with residents.

National Day of Joy is a nationwide initiative dedicated to promoting meaningful engagement, reducing isolation, and celebrating the moments that bring happiness at every age.
