Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services MCFRS) responded to a house fire Wednesday evening in the 4800 block of Aspen Hill Road.
According to MCFRS spokesperson David Pazos, the fire was dispatched at approximately 7:40 p.m. after smoke was reported coming from the home. Firefighters located a kitchen fire in a one-story house that had extended into the walls. All occupants safely evacuated before crews arrived, and no injuries were reported.
Four adults, three children, and two pets have been displaced by the fire. The cause of the fire has not been released.
