Montgomery County police are investigating a shooting that occurred Wednesday evening in a parking lot in the 14100 block of Castle Boulevard near Burtonsville.
According to the Montgomery County Department of Police, officers from the 3rd District responded to the area at approximately 7:47 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting.
The preliminary investigation determined that the victim was walking through the parking lot when two unidentified male suspects began shooting at the victim. Police said one of the suspects was armed with an AR-style firearm. After the shooting, the two suspects entered a silver SUV driven by a third suspect and fled the scene.
No injuries were reported, and no additional suspect information has been released.
Detectives with the 3rd District Investigative Section are continuing to investigate.
