Greenbrook Mental Wellness Centers, part of Neuronetics, Inc., will celebrate the grand opening of its new National Center of Excellence for Advanced Interventional Psychiatry in Rockville on Wednesday, August 5.
Located at 15001 Shady Grove Road, Suite 220, the nearly 7,000-square-foot facility is Greenbrook’s largest location and will serve as the company’s flagship center for patient care, clinical innovation and research. The center offers NeuroStar Advanced Therapy, a noninvasive transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) treatment, and SPRAVATO (esketamine) nasal spray for patients with treatment-resistant depression and other psychiatric conditions that have not responded to traditional therapies.
The facility will also function as Greenbrook’s National Center for Clinical Innovation and Research, where new treatment approaches will be evaluated before being introduced across the company’s nationwide network. According to the company, the specialized infrastructure is also designed to support the evaluation of emerging psychedelic-class therapies if they receive future approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The grand opening will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6 p.m., followed by facility tours. Media check-in begins at 5:15 p.m., and interviews with Neuronetics Chief Medical Officer Dr. Geoffrey Grammer will be available on request.
