PacSun is returning to Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, bringing the California-based apparel retailer back to the mall after closing its previous location in 2023.
Founded in 1980 as Pacific Sunwear in Seal Beach, California, PacSun has evolved from a surfwear retailer into a lifestyle brand focused on youth fashion. The chain offers clothing, footwear and accessories for men and women, carrying brands including Vans, Adidas, Fear of God Essentials and its own PacSun label. The company currently operates more than 350 stores nationwide.
An exact storefront location within the mall and an opening timeframe have not yet been announced. We’ll update this story once those details are confirmed.
PacSun says it is committed to offering “an exclusive collection of the most relevant brands and styles” while supporting initiatives through its PacCares program, which partners with organizations focused on mental health, female empowerment and social justice.
