Maryland State Police Joining National Night Out Events in Montgomery County

The Maryland State Police will participate in National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 4, joining local law enforcement agencies at several community events across Montgomery County.

Troopers from the Rockville Barrack will attend events at the Cider Mill Apartment Complex (18205 Lost Knife Circle) from 4 to 6:30 p.m., Saybrooke Community Pool (702 Saybrooke Oaks Blvd.) from 6 to 8 p.m., Flower Hill Community Center (8100 Mountain Laurel Lane) from 6 to 9 p.m., Kentlands Clubhouse (485 Tschiffely Square Rd.) from 6 to 8:30 p.m., and the Bennington Community Association (29 Goodport Lane) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. National Night Out is an annual event designed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the community through family-friendly activities, food, games and neighborhood engagement. “The Maryland Department of State Police is excited to join communities across the state for National Night Out 2026.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. This year’s event will be held on Tuesday, August 4. Troopers from all 23 Maryland State Police barracks, along with personnel from the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal, will partner with local law enforcement agencies and organizations to connect with the communities they serve.
