Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded at approximately 2:53 p.m. Friday to the 22800 block of Broadway Avenue in Clarksburg for a vehicle fire inside an attached garage.
Crews found a vehicle burning in the rear garage of a middle-of-the-row townhouse. The garage sprinkler system activated, and the fire did not spread into the home. All occupants escaped without injury, and no residents were displaced.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
