A Cecil County auto-body mechanic is celebrating a $1 million lottery win after purchasing a scratch-off ticket at the Royal Farms at 1825 Perryville Road in Perryville, MD.
The winner said he was speechless when he saw the prize. A friend who was with him celebrated with a hug, and he later shared the news with his wife and in-laws. He said he is now considering early retirement and plans to invest some of the winnings and take a vacation.
The Royal Farms store will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
