SecureSpace Self Storage has opened two self-storage facilities at 4 and 44 Research Place in Rockville.
The adjacent three-story buildings, now operating as SecureSpace Rockville, offer a combined 127,000 square feet of storage space with 1,454 units ranging in size from 5×5 to 10×30. The facilities include climate-controlled indoor storage units, along with a limited number of drive-up units.
According to the company, the property is undergoing renovations that will include updates to the leasing office, the installation of AI-enabled security cameras and sensors, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the buildings. The facilities, which were built in 2016 and 2020, will remain open during the renovation process.
Customers can rent storage units online or by phone while the upgrades are underway.
