Maryland Man Arrested in Major Drug Bust Connected to Gathering of the Juggalos

A Silver Spring man is among several people arrested in Missouri as part of a large drug enforcement operation connected to the 26th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos, according to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office.

Police said 49-year-old Dennis A. Pradham of Silver Spring was arrested following a roadside interdiction investigation in Camden County. Deputies reported seizing 93 pounds of marijuana, 124 pounds of mushrooms, 135.5 grams of ketamine, 33 grams of a ketamine/fentanyl mixture and 66.5 grams of MDMA, also known as ecstasy.

Pradham was charged with two counts of first-degree drug trafficking, including one Class A felony and one Class B felony, as well as three counts of delivery of a controlled substance. He is being held without bond, according to the sheriff’s office.

The arrest was part of a coordinated operation between the Camden County Sheriff’s Office and Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force during the week-long Gathering of the Juggalos at a campground in rural Macks Creek. Authorities said the operation was intended to address an influx of visitors and illegal drugs associated with the event.

Authorities said 45-year-old Kevin M. Jones of Easton, Pennsylvania, was arrested after 128 pounds of marijuana, 2.5 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms and more than $5,000 in cash were seized. Two residents of Bear, Delaware, were also arrested after deputies reported finding more than 40 pounds of edibles. The operation also involves assistance from the Missouri State Highway Patrol and other local and state agencies.
