A lotteey player who purchased a Pick 5 ticket in Germantown won $50,000 in the Sunday, August 23 drawing.
The winning ticket was sold at the Sunoco at 19738 Germantown Road. According to the Maryland Lottery, the $50,000 prize remained unclaimed as of Monday, August 24.
The Germantown ticket was one of several major Lottery wins in Montgomery County during the week of August 17-23. A $10,000 prize was also claimed on a Diamonds & Gold scratch-off ticket sold at 24/7 Grocery & Food, located at 202 Park Road in Rockville.
Statewide, 35 tickets delivered prizes of $10,000 or more during the week, while total winnings across all Maryland Lottery games reached nearly $26 million.
