Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) provided mutual aid Wednesday evening during a house fire in Hyattsville.
The Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department responded at approximately 6:50 p.m. to the 6100 block of 42nd Avenue, where crews encountered a two-story single-family home with fire showing from the roof.
MCFRS Engine 702 and other personnel assisted Prince George’s County crews at the scene. Anne Arundel County firefighters also provided mutual aid.
The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported. Fire investigators responded to determine the cause.
