Pâte à Cake is temporarily closed at 112 Paramount Park Drive in Gaithersburg’s Spectrum Town Center as the bakery and café prepares for a new concept.
A sign posted at the business states, “Pâte à Cake is being reimagined,” adding that “something beautiful is on its way.” The business describes what is coming as “a new experience in celebration cakes and desserts,” with additional details expected to be announced soon.
Pâte à Cake opened in 2020 and is located off Paramount Park Drive near Firebirds and Barking Mad Cafe. The Asian-French patisserie and café specializes in custom celebration cakes, French pastries and café drinks, incorporating Asian-inspired flavors such as matcha, lychee and jasmine.
An reopening date for Pâte à Cake has not yet been announced.
