Tomodachi Food Fest, billed as the DMV’s only anime food festival, is coming to Rockville Town Center on Saturday, September 5.
The free event will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and feature more than 20 food vendors alongside anime-inspired merchandise, art and décor designed to transform the square into an anime-themed setting.
Organizers say the festival will also feature a main stage with dance performances and DJ sets throughout the day. Attendees are encouraged to dress in cosplay, and the event is being promoted as pet-friendly.
Food vendors announced for the festival include Kapow Buddy, The Bing Spot and Panda Flame Hibachi, with additional vendors expected to participate.
Admission is free, with attendees encouraged to RSVP in advance.
