The Town of Kensington will host its 59th Annual Labor Day Parade and Festival on Monday, September 7, beginning at 10 a.m.
The parade will travel from Plyers Mill Road to Noyes Library and feature dance groups, marching bands, equestrian groups, floats, ambassadors and Kensington Volunteer Fire Department vehicles.
As the parade moves through town, a festival will take place along Armory Avenue from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with food vendors, beer and wine, live music, vendor booths, bounce houses and other family-friendly activities.
The event will be held rain or shine. Residents interested in volunteering can also sign up to help with the annual celebration.
