Dollar Tree at 19214 Montgomery Village Avenue is closed until further notice, according to signage posted on the store’s door.
The store closed on Tuesday and did not reopen at its normal time on Wednesday. A reason for the closure has not been announced, and it is unclear how long the location will remain closed.
Dollar Tree was originally known for selling items for $1 or less, but the discount retailer has since raised its base price to $1.25 and expanded its selection to include merchandise at higher price points.
Dollar Tree has additional locations throughout Gaithersburg, Germantown, Montgomery Village, Rockville, Silver Spring, Wheaton and White Oak.
