Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a serious motorcycle collision Wednesday evening near Downtown Crown and RIO Washingtonian.
The collision occurred around 7:15 p.m. on the ramp from eastbound Sam Eig Highway to southbound I-270. According to MCFRS, a single motorcycle struck a guardrail.
One person was transported as a Priority 1 trauma patient, indicating life-threatening injuries. MCFRS units M708, PE708 and EMS703 responded to the scene.
