Baraka Cafe is now open inside the Islamic Society of Germantown Community Center at 19825 Blunt Road in Germantown.
The cafe serves specialty coffee drinks, including toasted marshmallow, honey lavender and butter pecan lattes, along with baked goods, pastries, halal snacks, gummies and other beverages. It is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
According to the cafe, proceeds from purchases support the mosque community. Baraka Cafe is also designed as a gathering place where customers can study, work or spend time with family and friends. The cafe is open to the public.
