The Great Frederick Fair returns this week, bringing nine days of rides, fair food, agricultural exhibits and live entertainment to the Frederick Fairgrounds from September 18 through September 26.
This year’s grandstand entertainment begins Friday, September 18, with Daughtry, the rock band fronted by former American Idol finalist Chris Daughtry and known for hits including “It’s Not Over” and “Home.”
The Pop 2000 Tour follows on Saturday, September 19, featuring *NSYNC founding member Chris Kirkpatrick along with LFO, O-Town and Ryan Cabrera.
Country artists Neal McCoy and Mark Wills are scheduled to perform September 20, while former American Idol finalist and Christian music artist Danny Gokey will take the stage September 24.
In addition to the concerts, the annual fair will feature its traditional lineup of carnival rides, agricultural exhibits, food and other activities throughout its nine-day run.
