The City of Rockville will host a free Community Naloxone Training on Monday, September 28, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center, 355 Martins Lane.
The hands-on session will teach residents how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and safely administer naloxone, also known as Narcan, which can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.
The training is available for up to 15 people on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is required through the City of Rockville using course #43206.
