Montgomery County Police 5th District officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded at approximately 6:06 p.m. Saturday to a collision involving a car and motorcycle in the 19700 block of Barnesville Road in Dickerson.
According to preliminary information, the motorcycle operator was critically injured. A medevac helicopter assisted with the response and transported the patient to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
No other injuries have been reported, and police said the driver of the car remained at the scene. Some lanes are blocked in the area as the response continues.
