Shake Shack will open its new Bethesda restaurant on Wednesday, September 30, at 10 a.m.
The restaurant is located at 7535 Old Georgetown Road, inside the former SunTrust bank space on the ground floor of the Element 28 development. The opening will mark Shake Shack’s 11th location in Maryland and its second in the Bethesda area.
To celebrate the opening, the first wave of guests on September 30 will receive custom Shake Shack tote bags. The restaurant will also donate $1 to KID Museum for every sandwich sold at the Bethesda location that day, supporting hands-on STEM programs for children and teens in the community.
The Bethesda Shack will be open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday. The menu will feature Shake Shack staples including the ShackBurger, crinkle-cut fries and hand-spun shakes, along with limited-time offerings such as the new Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Shake.\
The Downtown Bethesda location will become the chain’s fourth in Montgomery County, joining existing locations in Kentlands, Westfield Montgomery, and Cabin John Village.
