Saints Row Brewing has announced that it will celebrate its grand reopening on Saturday, September 26, from noon to 10 p.m. at 15 Fulks Corner Ave. in Gaithersburg.
The reopening comes as the brewery prepares to begin a new chapter under new ownership following a brief closure earlier this year. Saints Row said the grand reopening will feature beer, food and new merchandise, with additional details about the festivities expected to be announced this week.
The brewery recently unveiled a new hand-painted sign as part of several updates to the Gaithersburg location. Saints Row had initially announced plans to close permanently at the end of April after more than eight years in Montgomery County’s craft beer scene, but announced in May that it would return.
Co-founder Tony Prebula later revealed that members of the brewery’s staff had joined together to purchase the business and continue operating it. Prebula said at the time that the brewery had always been about “people, connection, and community first and foremost,” and described the transition as passing the torch to the staff members who had helped embody that mission.
Founded in 2017 by Tony and Lacy Prebula, Saints Row Brewing has operated in Gaithersburg for more than eight years. The brewery said it is excited to reopen its doors and “have Saints Row feel like Saints Row again.”
