Tim Hortons will celebrate the grand opening of its first Maryland location in Eldersburg this Saturday, September 26, with a free coffee for a month giveaway.
The restaurant, located at 6400 Ridge Road, originally opened in July. To mark its grand opening, the first 500 guests who visit beginning at 4 a.m. Saturday will receive a voucher for one free coffee per day for 31 days. No purchase is required, but guests must be at least 18 and register for a Tims Rewards account to redeem the offer.
“We’re thrilled to now be serving guests in Eldersburg and we’re so grateful for the warm reception we’ve received from the local community so far,” Tim Hortons U.S. President Katerina Glyptis said.
The Eldersburg restaurant is open daily from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. and offers coffee, breakfast sandwiches, donuts, Timbits, Iced Capps and other food and beverages. Founded in Canada in 1964 by hockey player Tim Horton, the chain has grown to more than 6,000 restaurants worldwide. The company has been expanding into additional U.S. markets, with the Eldersburg restaurant marking its first location in Maryland.
Tim Hortons previously announced plans to expand further in Maryland, with additional locations planned for Carroll and Howard counties.
