iCode, a STEM-focused education center offering coding and technology programs for students, is now open at 259 Muddy Branch Road at the Festival at Muddy Branch shopping center in Gaithersburg.
The center offers after-school programs and camps for children and teens, typically ages 5 to 16. Its hands-on, instructor-led curriculum covers coding, robotics, game design and artificial intelligence.
iCode uses a gamified “belt system,” similar to martial arts, to track students’ progress as they develop technology skills. Additional iCode locations are also planned for Bethesda and Rockville as the brand continues to expand in Montgomery County.
