Caddies on Cordell in Bethesda is one of 10 finalists in The Washington Post’s search for the best sports bar in the Washington, D.C. area.
The Post collected nominations over the past two weeks before narrowing the field to 10 bars from D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Caddies, located at 4922 Cordell Avenue, is the only Montgomery County establishment among the finalists. Voting is open through Monday, October 12.
Caddies features more than 40 televisions dedicated to live sports, along with a large projector screen and outdoor TVs on its all-weather patio. Its menu includes wings, burgers, sandwiches and Detroit-style pizza, with food and drink specials offered throughout the week.
The other finalists are The Admiral in Dupont Circle, Dirty Water on H Street NE, First Down in Ballston, Franklin Hall on U Street, Ireland’s Four Courts in Arlington’s Court House neighborhood, The Irish Channel in Chinatown, Ivy and Coney in Shaw, The Muni in Logan Circle and Walters Sports Bar in Navy Yard.
