Every year, students from across Montgomery County bring their curiosity to life at our science and engineering fair, and 2027 will be our best yet.
For students (grades 6–12): Public, private and homeschool students are all welcome. Enter a project in one of seven categories: Behavioral & Social Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics. You’ll present your work to real scientists and get their feedback. You’ll also compete for more than 400 prizes, including cash, scholarships, science camps and internships. Top high school projects advance to the International Science and Engineering Fair!
For families and the community: Come see what our young scientists have discovered. The fair is a full day of creativity, problem-solving and inspiration. Register as a volunteer/judge to enter. We need judges, mentors and event-day helpers. Scientists, engineers, educators and students earning SSL hours are all welcome!
