Updates on Several Businesses Coming to Montgomery Village

Below are updates on several businesses coming soon to Montgomery Village:

Moe’s Southwest Grill:

Moe’s Southwest Grill at 19222 Montgomery Village Ave in the Montgomery Village Shopping Center will hold it’s grand opening on February 3.

Moe’s is taking over the space formerly occupied by the MV Animal Hospital. The hospital has moved right down the road to 19243 Watkins Mill Rd.

Currently the only other Moe’s in Montgomery County is located in the Westfield Wheaton Food Court.

Menu items include burritos, nachos, bowls, and salads.

You can read about Moe’s history here.

Starbucks:

Construction is ongoing at the site of the upcoming Starbucks.  The coffee shop will be located at the former site of the Montgomery Village Denny’s (19290 Montgomery Village Ave.)

No opening date has been announced.

Below are the latest photos of the store’s progress:

The timing for a new Starbucks is good as the Montgomery Village Center recently lost a coffee shop when Einstein Bros. Bagels at 19114 Montgomery Village Ave closed on December 30, 2021.

Signage on the front door of the former Einstein Bagels directs customers to the location at 531 Quince Orchard Rd (Firstfield Shopping Center) in Gaithersburg.

Lidl:
As we reported back in October, Lidl at 19225 Montgomery Village Ave in Montgomery Village will be holding it’s grand opening on February 9th. Lidl has announced that a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 7:40am that morning and the store will open to the public at 8am.

The first 100 customers to enter the store will receive a free gift card ranging anywhere from $5 to $100. The grocery store will also be handing out free samples of products and doing giveaways.
