(Located) Concern for Missing Germantown Teenager

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, February 23, 2022

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing teenager from Germantown.

Tonja Jones, age 17, was last seen on February 22 at approximately 2 p.m., in the 8000 block of Center Way.

Jones is approximately 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs approximately 195 pounds. She has a pierced right nostril. She was last seen wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white Nike Air Force One sneakers.

Police and family are concerned for her welfare.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Michelle Rivera Cruz is asked to call Montgomery County Police SVID at (240) 773- 5400 or the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000. Callers may remain anonymous.
