The Montgomery County Agricultural Fair returns next month on Friday, August 11th and will run through Saturday, August 19th. This will be the 74th annual fair and it’s third year back after having to cancel for the first time in its 70+ year history in 2020 due to Covid restrictions. You can download a copy of the 2023 Fair Catalog here. Admission to the fair is $15 on-site and $12 online. Children 11 & under can enter free and parking is $15 per car. Tickets can be purchased here.
Free entertainment this year includes a canine aquatics competition, pig racing, the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show, illusionists, remote control car racing, comedy shows, and stilt walkers. Ticketed events at the Fair’s Grandstand include Truck Drag Racing on August 14th, the Renegade Monster Truck Tour on August 16th and 17th, and Demolition Derby “Night of Destruction” on August 18th and 19th.
The Fair Foodie Awards will take place on Friday, August 11. Last year’s winners included Cajun Chicken on a Stick and Cotton Candy Lemonade. Click here for a full list of 2023 fair food vendors.

Founded in 1949, the Montgomery County Agricultural Center has been home to the Montgomery County Fair since its creation. Sitting on 62 acres, the Fair has more than 50 buildings that are filled with more than 5,000 animals every year. The Fair has animals, entertainment, food, commercial, home arts, arts and crafts exhibits, and many others for the whole family to enjoy.
Currently, the fair is looking for anyone who is willing to donate their car to be entered in our Annual Demolition Derby. It must run and it will be tax deductible for the 2023 Tax Season. In return you will get the Tax Deduction Letter and a Family Fun Package to the Fair that includes, 4 Tickets to the Fair, 1 parking ticket, 4 Tickets for the Demolition Derby & 4 Carnival All-You-Can-Ride One-Day Wristbands.
