Beyond MoCo: Police Looking to Identify Motorcyclist Speeding on I-70

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Department post the following Facebook message on Monday, July 24:
“On July 21, at approximately 8:40 p.m., a FCSO traffic unit deputy observed a multicolored motorcycle traveling eastbound on I-70 in the area of Linganore Road. The vehicle was operated by a male who was wearing a long-sleeve black shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, and a blue multicolored helmet with a full face shield. The motorcycle had bright blue rims and no tag was displayed. The operator was traveling at a high rate of speed on I-70, causing a danger to the motoring public at large and himself.

The deputy attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the motorcycle, which refused to stop. They motorcyclist was last seen fleeing, via I-70 eastbound, in the area of the New Market Scale House.
