Severe Traffic Alert: All Southbound Lanes of I-270 Closed Near Exit 22

Update: All travel lanes have reopened on southbound I-270 near Exit 22 for MD-109/Old Hundred Rd. Expect residual delays.

All southbound lanes of I-270 near Exit 22 are currently blocked due to a traffic accident. According to Alert Montgomery,  “Severe Traffic Alert – SB I-270 Traffic incident blocks all southbound lanes of I-270 near Exit 22 for MD-109/Old Hundred Rd. Expect significant delays and follow police direction. Seek alternate route.” We will post an update when additional information is available.
