Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the 8200 block of Wisconsin Ave in Bethesda for the report of an apartment fire on Saturday, November 18.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, first arriving units encountered an active fire and smoke conditions in an apartment on the fourth floor. Wisconsin Ave was blocked in both directions during the incident. The fire has been extinguished and there were no injuries reported. Piringer noted that there was a significant volume of furnishings and others material in the apartment of origin. We will provide an update if addition information becomes available.
