Two $50,000 Winning Powerball Tickets Remain Unclaimed

Two $50,000 winning Powerball tickets that were sold last week in Montgomery County remain unclaimed as of Monday, December 18.


According to the Maryland Lottery, the tickets were sold at:

·         Woodmont Market, 8227 A Woodmont Avenue, Bethesda (sold Dec. 12 at)

·         Safeway, 19718 Germantown Road, Germantown (sold Dec. 16)

There was also a $39,029 winning RACETRAX ticket that was sold on Dec. 17 at Giant (3860 International Drive, Silver Spring) that has also yet to be claimed.

The next Powerball drawing takes place tonight and has an estimated annuity of $543 million and an estimated cash value of $272.2 million. Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. They get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
